GinjaNinjaOwO
Personal review
GinjaNinjaOwO, also known as Rea (Short for Reagan, pronounced Ray), is an animator and artist. You can find her work on YouTube (GinjaNinjaOwO) as well as Instagram (@reakagamine) and deviatart (Skitea). She is 19 years old and been an artist for 8 years and animator for 5 years. She is a freshman at RMCAD, she is working towards her 2D animation degree.
I have been a subscriber to her YouTube channel for about 3 years now and she has been a great inspiration to me. I love her art style and her animation skills are outstanding, and in this text i'm going to tell you all why I think that. If we start with the art, you can easily see that she is an animator just by her style. Her style is a cartoon style and it is simple in details and colors, and that further more shows that she is a splendid animator. Simplicity is very important for animation and she has mastered it. Her lines are bold and you can see how secure she is in her skill, the line art and coloring shows her confidence and skill. But she also have art that has great detail and would not be able to be used in animation without a whole team of animators working on it. Tho they don't strive to far away from her animation style that we all know and love. here are some of my personal favorites.
Now I am going to give my reason as to why these two are my personal favorites.
Picture number one is an illustration of the two characters Squirrelflight (Left) and Ashfur (Right) from the book series Warriors by Erin Hunter. The illustration plays out a very famous and well known scene from the books in the third series. I love the picture because of the emotion that both characters show. The shading and lighting is amazing. The flares of fire fling by in the foreground in front of the characters really give a sense of the fire being everywhere as well as a sense of depth. I would personally have not added the shimmer of light between the characters, but over all it is an amazing picture.
The other illustration is of Ladybug (right) and Chat Noir (Left) from the animated series Miraculous Ladybug. I don't personally watch the show, cause it is just simply not my cup of tea. But i love the character design and characters. This picture is great for a number of reasons. The artist knows how to place the characters to draw the attention to the faces of the characters. i love there expressions and how she was able to make it clear that Chat Noir is further behind Ladybug and not a little midget next to her, which is a common mistake i see in others artworks. the way the artist has bent the clouds in the background and the staff that Chat Noir is sitting on gives the picture depth and movement, making them look less stiff and more alive.
She is a great artist and draws a lot of fan-art of everything from Warriors to Pokemon. But she also has done a lot of original characters that she draws and makes comics about. All in which you can find on her Deviantart.
Now moving on to her animations. As previously stated she is an animation student. And she has great skill, so there is no doubt in my mind that she will graduate as one of the top students in her class. Her animation is smooth and confident, she knows what to to with camera movements, poses and and backgrounds. Like i have already said i have been a subscriber for quiet some time. And it has been so much fun to follow her progress through out the years. She has improved so much and and one day i hope i will be as great as her. Here are some examples on my personal favorites and i will write my reason as to why i love them.

This animation is of the characters Ivypool and Dovewing from the book series Warriors written by Erin Hunter. This animation is great. The expressions of the characters are really strong, and you can almost see their personality just by this very short video of them. The colors are great and the backgrounds are just beautiful. The animation is smooth and the lip sync is perfect according to me. it takes a really great animator to be able to bring out the characters so great in such a short amount of time.

Now, in this video there are two animations, and i want to bring your attention to the first animation. It's an animation of Squirrelflight and Ashfur from the book series Warriors written by Erin Hunter. Now this animation is a masterpiece according to me. First of all, the emotion is great, you can really see how happy and content Squirrelflight is, and how bitter, angry and heartbroken Ashfur is. The way the camera spins around and how well the background and characters more along without it looking strange or unnatural is just beautiful. the colors and shadows are great. The way she as been able to make the shadows and light fall on the characters and show that the light is going through the tree tops with branches and leaves, and it is just beautiful.
So to sum this up. GinjaNinjaOwO is an amazing animator and artist, and i hope this blog will want you to check her out if you have not already.
